Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and paste the below CSS code and click publish button.

There is no default option for hiding date of the post item, but you can achieve that by Additional CSS code. Please refer below simple steps;

Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and paste the below code.

.block-grid .post-content .post-thumb-outer .post-detail {
display: none;
}

Note: it will hide from all blog posts.

Thank you for your information. You can add the slider items from easy Custom Post Types (left sidebar navigation named “Slider” in dashboard). Then Add new slider items. And for slider setting options, Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Front Page Options > Slider. For more detail, please have a look at the Theme documentation, point number 12.
