Element Error on Home Page

Hello, I’m contacting you to resolve an ongoing issue with Business Consultr Pro theme. I get the following error whenever I try to edit homepage:

“You must call ‘the_content’ function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page”

I purchased a single-user license for this theme in 2018, and recently purchased a lifetime license via Freemius. I did this because I got no response from numerous support requests. I had hoped the upgrade would resolve the issue, but it did not. I’m requesting your urgent response to this issue.

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for the inconvenience. The the_content function is a WordPress function that gets the content from the database and prints it on the screen. Given that Elementor’s content replaces the content of the page. This function is called in the theme page, so Elementor must work. Please provide us your site URL, WP username and password to [email protected] , so we can figure it our how you setup the front page setting.
