My customizations don’t show on assigned homepage

As instructed, I assigned pages for my static page and blog page (I want a static page). I made the customizations for the front page options and none of my customizations are displayed on the assigned homepage. I checked everything and I still don’t see what’s wrong. Can you help me?

You may forget to assign Front Page, page template for the home page (that you used as static page).
